About Unit

Research related to the physiology of vegetative reproduction of forest trees is concerned with the nature and function of biological systems operating in woody plants, plant tissues and plant cells during somatic cell and tissue differentiation, histogenesis, organogenesis and root initiation and development. Practical aims are the development of systems effective for mass clonal propagation and for the conservation of genetic resources.
