The objectives of this Working Party are to promote the dissemination of information and knowledge of general interest in the field of protection from fire to the international forestry community, and to provide a forum for the presentation and discussion of research conducted by international scientists. The range of topics covered by this Working Party are broad, and can include, for example, chemical treatments for the reduction of flammability, fire safety requirements as they relate to building codes, and fire testing technology and methodology.
