Working Party 6.11.04 provides a forum for furthering understanding and application of sociological research as it pertains to management of forests. Critical research areas of interest include: land tenure, land use patterns and practices, public participation, institutional arrangements, values, equity, attachment to place, cultural influences, and population characteristics and trends.
