You have been selected as a presenter of a scientific poster at the IUFRO World Congress in Seoul, Korea. Would you like to win one of the eight IUFRO Best Poster Awards (BPA)?
You only have to send the text of your poster (no illustrations) to the Chair of the IUFRO Honours and Awards Committee at leess(at)frim.gov.my or leesusee08(at)gmail.com by 30 June 2010. If you are able to submit the full poster in pdf format (file size not exceeding 5 MB), please do so. The Honours and Awards Committee shall present recommendations to the IUFRO Board for approval at its Congress meeting.
The IUFRO Best Poster Award winners will be announced at the IUFRO World Congress.

The need to promote multipurpose forest ecosystem management by taking into account ecological and economic considerations as well as societal needs was emphasised at the Nanning Conference.
The "Global Forest Expert Panels" (GFEP) initiative of the Collaborative Partnership on Forests (CPF) has established an Expert Panel on Biodiversity, Forest Management, and REDD+.
The 13th IUFRO meeting on Root and Butt Rot of Forest Trees held in September 2011 in Italy discussed, among other things, role of root rots in European and North American forest ecosystems.
