IUFRO The Advocate for Forest Science.
This new IUFRO World Series publication presents the outcome of the latest Asia and the Pacific Workshop organized by APAFRI. Proceedings of previous workshops and symposia of this kind held in Malaysia, Sri Lanka and the Philippines are also available as IUFRO World Series (24, 27, 29). The workshop provided a platform to exchange and share the critical experiences and knowledge on the conservation of valuable and endangered tree species in the region, as well as to explore potential multinational collaboration and trans-boundary cooperation in related research areas.
