IUFRO News Vol. 41, Issue 5, May 2012
This issue informs about the first IUFRO all-Division 9 conference which was hosted by the Faculty of Forestry at the University of Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The conference was held back to back with the "IUFRO Directors' Forum", a meeting of deans of faculties and directors of forest research institutions. In addition, you can read a report from the conference on ‘Urban Forests – Ecosystem Services and Sustainable Maintenance' held during 8-12 May in Leipzig, Germany, and a meeting on "Improving Supply Chain Management in the Forest Sector to Develop Local Economy" in Japan.
