The 9th International Christmas Tree Research and Extension Conference will be held 14-18 September, 2009. The first three days (14-16 Sept.) will be in Corvallis, Oregon, and then the conference will move north to Puyallup, Washington (17-18 Sept.)

• Eighth International Christmas Tree Research & Extension Conference; Bogense, Denmark; 12-18 August 2007
  
  The seeds of this Unit began in 1987 with a conference organized by Dr. Gary Chastagner and held at Washington State University in Puyallup, WA, USA. Since then, an informal group has grown and met six additional times: in Oregon (twice), North Carolina and Michigan, USA, in British Columbia, Canada and in Vissenbjerg, Denmark. • Following that conference, the exchange group was organized into an IUFRO Working Party and will meet biennially. The Eighth International Christmas Tree Research & Extension Conference was held 12-18 August 2007 in Bogense, Denmark, and was hosted by the Danish Forest and Landscape Research Institute. The conference program included contributed talks, posters, an extension discussion roundtable, and field tours of nearby Christmas tree research and production.
