About Unit

This Working Party draws together those interested in research on the genetics of forest tree populations especially in relation to ecological and climatic influences. Genetic conservation is a prime focus; this interest includes research on genetic diversity as affected by environmental impact, environmental change and forest management, leading to implications for forestry practice.
