This Research Group was established to promote cooperation among scientists engaged in research to enhance the growth and properties of major commercial hardwoods. Five Working Parties in the Unit cover research interests on eucalypts, poplars and willows, oaks, nitrogen-fixing trees and tropical hardwoods.
