"Eco-Friendly Pro-Poor Bamboo Production" Project, http://www.switchbamboo.org/: co-financed by the European commission and implemented by INBAR (the International Network for Bamboo and Rattan) and 3 partners, SFD (Sichuan Forestry Department), EUPIC (European Project Innovation Centre Chengdu) and BenCham (Benelux chamber of commerce in China).
The goal of the project is to contribute to environmentally sustainable, pro-poor economic growth in post-disaster Sichuan Province, China. The specific objective is to increase livelihood opportunities by strengthening the bamboo sector in Sichuan, especially in earthquake-affected areas.
