Past events
- The IUFRO 5.12 Research Group sponsored three sessions at the All Division 5 meeting in Taipei, Taiwan during 10/29 – 11/2, 2007. These sessions are entitled:
1. Emerging themes for sustainable utilization of forest products.
2. Integrating forest products with ecological services.
3. Issues in sustainable utilization of forest prodcuts.
- The IUFRO Div. 5.12 Research Group was co-sponsoring an IUFRO Scientific Conference entitled "Forest Growth and Timber Quality: Crown Models and Simulation Methods for Sustainable Forest Management".
This conference was held during August 7-10, 2007 in Portland, Oregon, United States 97232. Additional information about the conference is at http://www.westernforestry.org/crownmodels/crownmodels.htm.
- The IUFRO 5.12 Research Group sponsored two sessions at the IUFRO World Congress in Brisbane, Australia during August 2005. The tiles of these sessions were: 1) Wood Production within Sustainable Forest Management, and 2) Emerging Issues for Sustainable Forest Management.
