This Working Party relies on a network of experts in forestry, forest products, forest ecology and neighbouring disciplines, to be developed with three complementary objectives:

• to maintain a searchable, online directory of experts in forest-related fields who are willing to address terminological questions
• to increase terminological awareness among IUFRO members
• to inventory terminological divergences for selected concepts and discuss them within electronic conferences.
