6.06.01 – Technology transfer
About Unit
The mission of the Technology Transfer Working Party is to coordinate the interests of IUFRO member organizations related to the application of forestry research findings. The goals are as follows:
- Serve as a focus for learning about technology transfer.
- Share successful approaches to technology transfer.
- Develop methods and techniques to generally improve technology transfer including planning for it as part of the research process, inclusion of user groups and stakeholders, and evaluation of successful transfer.
