The mission of the Technology Transfer Working Party is to coordinate the interests of IUFRO member organizations related to the application of forestry research findings.  The goals are as follows:

• Serve as a focus for learning about technology transfer.
  
  
• Share successful approaches to technology transfer.
  
  
• Develop methods and techniques to generally improve technology transfer including planning for it as part of the research process, inclusion of user groups and stakeholders, and evaluation of successful transfer.
