Planned activities and events
For the next few years we plan to organise, in co-operation with other IUFRO WPs and other research organisations, three workshops on the following topics:
- Effect of tree diversity on forest response to climate changes
- Biodiversity and forest ecosystem productivity across multiple trophic levels
- Forest biodiversity and resistance to invasion by exotic species

- Biodiversity in managed forest landscapes, tentatively planned to be held in Vancouver, Canada, July 2008
- Forest biodiversity and resistance to alien species invasion, Rotorua, New Zealand, March 2009
- Forest biodiversity and regeneration under climate change, Bordeaux, France, 2010
