9.04.04 – Forest Land Tenure and Property Rights

Working Party 9.04.04 "Forest Land Tenure and Property Rights" is devoted to forest economics and policy study from the perspective of land tenure and property rights. In agriculture and forestry, land is the fundamental resource.  Forest land tenure is one of the most important policies and is viewed as important factor on deforestation, land use and land cover change, forest land productivity. The Unit is particularly interested in:

• Community forests and common resource management
• Land leasing and use rights market
• Family forest management
• Forest land tenure evolution
