Mine Site Assessment Tool (MSAT)
The Population and Development Initiative (PDI) won a competition organized by Innovation for Change Africa Hub to collect ideas of addressing civic space in natural resources management. PDI presented the topic on responsible mining and won, among other 3 winners from Zambia, Kenya and Nigeria together with prize of 1,000 USD to conduct more dialogues on responsible mining in Geita region, Tanzania.
