International Conference - Equality and Diversity in Forestry: Changing the Image of Forestry
WOFO is an international organization that connects existing networks for women in forestry, supports the creation of new networks and initiatives, and makes them more influential and integrated at the national and international levels. The conference will focus on young women in forestry and how to change the image of forestry from a traditionally male-oriented sector to an equality-oriented and inclusive one. The first day will be devoted to lectures and discussion. On the second day, there will be a study visit to Slovenian Istria, where we will see some interesting natural sights and learn about close to nature forest management in Slovenia.Date: 24-25 October 2024
