About the session:
Recently, countries in the Caucasus and Central Asia made a commitment to bring 2.5 million ha into restoration under the Bonn challenge by 2030. The demographic, economic, environmental and climatic changes that take place in the region clearly warrant accelerated action. This session, led as a moderated dialogue, will revolve around the ways and means to implement forest landscape restoration on the ground, from policy to practice, in specific countries.
