Assistant Professor in the Department of Sustainable Bioproducts // 1 November 2021 or until filled
The Mississippi State University Extension Service (MSU-ES) seeks to fill a 12-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor, in the Department of Sustainable Bioproducts. The successful candidate must possess a Ph.D. in forest products, wood science, biomaterials, forestry, agricultural engineering, industrial technology, or a related field. This faculty member will have primary responsibility in timber conversion, lumber and products primary manufacturing/conversion, timber bridge and wood protection. Primary responsibilities include: implement Extension educational programs in disciplines such as wood products manufacturing, wood protection, timber bridges, wood properties, and manufacturing safety. Successful applicants must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.Institutions: Department of Sustainable Bioproducts, College of Forest Resources, Mississippi State University
