Assistant Professor of Forest Management // 1 February 2022The School of Forest Resources (SFR) at the University of Maine seeks a collaborative colleague to join the faculty as an Assistant Professor in Forest Management. The successful applicant is expected to fully participate in UMaine’s undergraduate and graduate education, build a strong research program, and engage with diverse stakeholders, and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the institution and the discipline. This position is 50% teaching and 50% research with additional expectations of service and advising undergraduate and graduate students. The 50% teaching appointment involves teaching 9 credits per academic year. Research expectations include developing an extramurally funded, internationally recognized, forest management research program and collaborating with scientists and educators in forest resources and related disciplines.
