World Wood Day 2020 In Tokyo, Japan Is Cancelled

With the increasing number of confirmed cases in the Asia-Pacific area, the Committee is deeply concerned for the health and welfare of all WWD participants and the general public while traveling and during the event. The World Wood Day 2020 Organizing Committee has reached a very difficult decision to cancel the World Wood Day 2020 event in Tokyo, Japan.

The Committee greatly appreciates your interest and support for the World Wood Day event and understands that calling off the event is a disappointing news.  However, World Wood Day is about who you celebrate with and how you can contribute to the world meaningfully.  You are encouraged to celebrate World Wood Day locally in your own way. World Wood Day hopes to hear from you again in the future.
