About Unit

The Working Party is concerned with the physiology of the roots of forest trees, including root functions, development, architecture, root cell anatomy, ion absorption, adaptation, stress, growth under planted conditions, fine root system dynamics, mycorrhizas and other rhizosphere microorganisms, and modeling of root growth and development.
