The interests of this Unit are focused on the physiology of shoot growth of forest trees, both angiosperms and gymnosperms, i.e. the complex of biochemical and structural processes involved in the initiation, continuation and cessation of shoot growth. Forest biologists and others interested in this field are invited to participate in the Unit's activities by contacting the Working Party Coordinator via the above address information.
