This self-learning course was developed at the University of Minnesota, College of Natural Resources, Department of Forest Resources, in collaboration with IUFRO SPDC and with the advice and assistance of experienced managers of forestry research organizations around the world. A hardcopy is available in English, French and Spanish. The course comprises 12 modules and is organized in six volumes as follows:
