Apply for a short scientific visit grant

In 2023, IUFRO will offer grants of up to EUR 5 000 for Short Scientific Visits specifically for early-career scientists affiliated with IUFRO member organisations in lower-middle and low income countries. These visits will provide a unique opportunity for young scientists from Africa, Asia and Latin America to visit a forest research organisation overseas and conduct international scientific collaboration. 

The specific duration of the short scientific visits will be dependent on the complexity of the proposed projects, the location of the visit, and the availability of leveraged funding sources.
