The IUFRO/CIFOR Discussion Forum at the Global Landscapes Forum in Lima, Peru, presents:

New Findings on the Dynamics between Forests, Land Use and Food Security
Sunday, 7 December, 16:00 – 17:30 in Cusco Salon 3

Mandated by the Collaborative Partnership on Forests (CPF), a Global Forest Expert Panel (GFEP) is investigating the diverse roles of forests in contributing to food security, dietary diversity and nutrition. The aim is to prepare an assessment report that can be used for relevant international policy processes and the discussions on the post-2015 development agenda.

Lead authors of the assessment will present emerging findings focusing on response options across the landscape.
