A Memorandum of Understanding between IFSA and IUFRO was established in 2002, renewed in 2014 at the IUFRO World Congress in Salt Lake City, and renewed again in 2019 at the IUFRO World Congress in Curitiba, Brazil. IFSA has been collaborating on forestry education matters, volunteering at IUFRO congresses, and co-organizing side events during international meetings. IFSA is also an official member of IUFRO.
