Forest Knowledge Exchange: Advancing Innovation with Tradition

Mark your calendars and make plans to attend IUFRO EKE's 2023 Working Party Meeting and Conference scheduled for October 8-13, 2023 in the Veneto Region of Italy. This beautiful region is a cultural, social, economic and environmental centerpiece and the perfect location to assemble forestry and natural resource Extension, education and communications specialists from throughout the world to share information and knowledge regarding important breakthroughs in EKE.

Abstracts for presentations and posters will be accepted following an official Call for Abstracts coming in January, 2023.

Announcing Forestry Chronicle Special Theme Issue

The IUFRO Extension & Knowledge Exchange Working Party conference in Kenora, Ontario, Canada, is almost here: September 25th to the 29th, 2016. This year EKE had the good fortune of securing a special issue of the Forestry Chronicle, published by the Canadian Institute of Forestry, focusing on our conference theme: Increasing capacity for program delivery through knowledge exchange networks and peer-to-peer learning. Papers submitted for presentations were also submitted and peer reviewed for possible inclusion in this journal. Look for this special issue in December 2016 and see what your colleaugues are doing!

Extension & Knowledge Exchange Working Party Conference Kenora - Registration is now open!

The conference web site is now up for the IUFRO Extension & Knowledge Exchange Working Party conference, to be held at Kenora, Ontario, Canada, from September 25th to the 29th, 2016. 

The theme of the 2016 conference is “Increasing capacity for program delivery through knowledge exchange networks and peer to peer learning” This is an opportunity to learn about  successful collaborative programs and partnerships from around the world, the process for development, what worked and what didn’t, and lessons learned.
