IUFRO-Japan News No. 116

Issue 116 of IUFRO News-Japan introduces to its readers APAFRI, the Asia Pacific Association of Forestry Research Institutions. It lists four IUFRO conferences where IUFRO officeholders from Japan are involved. In addition, there is an overview of major IUFRO events such as the 125th IUFRO Anniversary Congress and the IUFRO Regional Conferences for Asia and Oceania. And finally, the Durban Declaration of XIV World Forestry Congress is presented.

The IUFRO-Japan (IUFRO-J) Committee is an organization established in 1970 to promote global and domestic partnerships in forest-related research, which cooperates with IUFRO Headquarters.
