A comment by Ms Yogi Wulan Puspitasari (Indonesia), one of the workshop’s participants

“One week after our valuable Science Communication Workshop and an amazing 2nd Asia Pacific Forestry Week, we have held a training workshop for 29 of our young scientists to proudly share our training experiences from the events in China. During this training I could again feel the enthusiasm in the class room similar to the one we experienced when we were in China. The trainees realized that communication is important for forest science and understanding of the interface between policy and science helps to develop more meaningful research in forestry. So, thanks to our trainers and resources persons for giving us such opportunity. We are looking forward for another training that we can share with our fellow researchers in our country”.
